About Me
My mother & father met at Marathon High School in 1957, fell in love, got married and decided to raise a family here. I was born at Fisherman’s Hospital in 1966. I attended Stanley Switlik Elementary School, Marathon High School, and went on to earn my associates degree at Palm Beach Jr. College and a degree in Commercial Advertising at The Art Institue of Ft. Lauderdale. I grew up playing football, basketball & baseball, as well as fishing, diving & waterskiing in our beautiful Florida Keys waters. I am a very active member of the Marathon Community Theater, and enjoy spending my free time with friends, family and my girlfriend Dawn.
My parents ran a successful Real Estate Company here in Marathon from 1972 to 2009 called Chaplin Real Estate. Also, my aunt Diane (Chaplin-Colvard) owned & opperated her own real estate company The Waterfront Specialist from 1996 till 2013. So you could say it’s in my blood. They are all retired now but I have decades of Real Estate knowledge & experience in my corner. Their wisdom & knowledge of Florida Keys properties has proved invaluable.
